Straight answers
What happens to my printed codes if I stop paying?
They keep working for 30 days after your plan lapses, and we warn you before it happens. After that a scan lands on a page telling the visitor the code is inactive — it is never sold or pointed at anyone else. Renew and everything comes back exactly as it was, same short link, same scan history.
Can I change the design after printing?
You can change the colors and shape for future downloads, but the printed artwork is whatever you printed. What you can change on a dynamic code is where it sends people — that is the part that matters.
Do scans work without internet?
A static code works entirely offline. A dynamic code needs the scanner to have data, because their phone has to follow the short link. Every phone that can scan a QR code has data in practice.
Is my scan data private?
We store device type, rough city and a one-way hash of the IP address so we can count unique devices. We never store the raw IP, and we never sell or share any of it.
Can I use my own domain for the short links?
Not yet. Everything runs on our short domain today. If you need your own branded domain, talk to us — it is doable on the Agency plan.
What if I only need static codes?
Then use the free tool and never pay us anything. It is genuinely unlimited, and there is no watermark.
